xanadu, up until that 11 day break they had about 20 stops in about 45 days, not to mention about 20 days of driving. so they got about 5 days off in that time. when the normal person gets about 12 days off. now personally I would want to give my crew a time to rechsarge the batteries and not get burned out and show it at the stops. and who is to say the crew didnt make a few mini stops in that 11 day lay off. either way I would be happy to give them 11 days off after what they had been through in the previous 6 weeks. these guys are in there 20's I imagine have never done such a trip, it was probably wearing them out. BUT yet you say no break keep going. do you want them to look wore out at the stops? and even if they get a day off they still get screwed. they cant do whatever they want like you and I.
they need to recharge for the stretch they are about to hit, stops 23, 24, 25, 26 have about 4000 miles between them and 13 days of set up all this do be done in 23 days. so if they drive 10 hours a day with stops they will have about 3 days off in that 23 day strech, you and I would get 6 days off.
I know its easy for you to sit back and judge, after all its not you out there. whatever they did it wouldnt be good enough for someone like you.
all just my opinion
