JF isn't so much actively reducing daytraders he is just not doing anything that will give daytraders the chance to make big money. His mission is to get the company going before he worries about a stock price. Heads that worry about stock prices when thye company is in the red are more worried about making quick bucks rather than a real company. This one is real. And unfortunately real does not mean real money right away... or if it fails, at all.
