Huh? FM..are you saying the CSGCOS system is too new? Well, yes and no, I think. I am probably a little more comfortable with that concept because I have used many of the elements (different details) for a number of years...My own adaptation has returned from 25-60%/yr using the Rydex 2X funds. The guys who published the rules known as CSGCOS backtested it for about 20 years, and I think the average return was about 90%......so, their data is backtest..but I have forward-going results on a similar system (uses VTO rules, ema on price, ema on NASI, plus what I think is pretty important..BPNDX). The latter is not used in CSGCOS.
I'm not trying to encourage you to use CSGCOS in any form...particularly I wouldn't follow the advanced rules, personally......they are very optimized..to the point that they are very whipsaw prone.
Unless you have something better though, it might be worthwhile to paper trade it for a year or two, and see how it does. I am neutral as to whether anyone else finds it of use or not.
