I think the ACLU has threatened him and he'd rather not use the meager wages that iHub corporate owners pay him as site admin to defend himself in a lawsuit on clearly applicable First Amendment rights.

Anyone who reads this board with any regularity can see that many members have complained to Matt's bosses about his restriction of their free-speech rights.

IMO Matt is showing how afraid he is of being fired by the founders and owners of iHub.
