Yes, the positive steps seem to be when trump loyalists break ranks and act like normal human beings. The cult force is strong, however, so any such things really stand out.

I have seen no one condone the Tucker Carlson thing. Fifteen people with a tambourine is probably very traumatic for bullies who are used to just spraying hate on others. But families need not be included.
