There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor. Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!

Zero empathy; zero compassion; zero appreciation of the efforts of responders; and ZERO understanding of the situation. These fires have absolutely NOTHING to do with "mismanagement" of forests. They are burning through brush, chaparral...and of course, poorly protected neighborhoods. And now to blame these deaths on forest management (and by extension for managers) is unconscionable. How about 6 months without rain, low humidity and 50+ mph winds. Every time I even think about giving this man the benefit of the doubt...when I consider how many in this country continue to support him I assume I must be missing something......I'm not. He is an arrogant, ignorant, narcissistic asshole.
