I’m not surprised. Too much turmoil going on, so they just withdraw to their safe spaces. It’s hard for university trained lambs to suddenly become lions.
A friend of mine who presents himself as a hardcore Republican, after I asked him last night, if he had voted yet, informed me that he hadn’t voted since 2006, because “they are all crooked”. He said he didn’t even know where his polling station was. I was shocked because he’s very knowledgeable about current events and despises the current crop of politicians from both parties as much as I do.
I’m going to bug the hell out of him til he votes. Lol
