No it is not unreasonable. Nor is it unreasonable, in sight of the facts of other corroborating evidence, for her to not produce it, if she does not want to, at this time. Maybe she sold it to national Enquirer. Maybe it was sold to a Democrat, that wanted to protect Ellison and she does not want to admit it. Maybe Ellison's opponent in the election paid for it. Who knows why she won't. I don't think she would have made up such an obviously unprovable lie.

When in your mind would be a more effective time than now?

Maybe 5 days before the election. I watched her on FOX, when she was asked that very question and she seemed uncomfortable answering it.
But, with all the other evidence available, does it really matter. Susan Ford was considered "credible" with a whole lot less corroboration and fact. That is the whole point.
