if you bought the stock AFTER the company declared bankruptcy I doubt you would find a lawyer (an ethical one at least) that would take your money to sue anyone. Their comment might be something like “wait...you bought a stock in a bankrupt company and you are surprised you lost your investment????”.

The company’s final filings to the SEC ALL indicate that unsecured creditors and equity holders would likely get nothing. Despite that some still bought.

Caveat Emptor.

If you bought before the company declared bankruptcy you could perhaps sue the company...only problem is the company has nothing you could recover from.
