Hi Kastel, CD and I have different methods. He and I have discussed this in the past. I do not like to average up (or down for that matter).

I prefer the LTMOI<g> (LoanTech Method Of Investment)

I try to get in early, buy as big a position as I am comfortable with and wait for the herd to arrive. So when a stock like SVL or GRS runs I am already in or watching. Not too often will I jump in.

So I already had a sizeable position in SVL. I wanted some trading shares and CD ripped me off and I am mad as hell and I am not gonna take this anymore!<g>

My main problem is the same as yours: know when to sell. If I could master this difficult task I would hold 2x the profits I currently do!
