So is anyone buying Trump's BS about rogue killers except for his koolaid drinking crowd?

No. Killing an American Journalist in the Middle East is not something new. Steven Sotloff was beheaded in 2014. James Foley was also beheaded in 2014.Both were beheaded by ISIS, a terrorist org funded by Iran.

But, that did not stop President Obama from negotiating the Iran Nuclear Deal and lifting sanctions on Iran. Nor did it stop Obama from sending billions of dollars to Iran, which funded more terrorism in that region.

My point to all this is, Presidents view foreign relations as more important than the life of a journalist or two.

Trump is now between a rock and a hard place. Especially with his plan to put tougher sanctions in place toward Iran. Those sanctions will disrupt the oil markets and probably cause higher oil prices, if enforced.

Traditionally, Saudi Arabia has been somewhat of an ally in that region. At times, the Saudis have increased oil production to offset OPEC efforts to raise oil prices. And during the American offensive toward Iraq, has provided military and air bases for America. They contributed $110 million to form a counter terrorism group of Mideast nations.

It has become obvious that Trump is trying to provide the Saudis with a face saving way to cover their ass. The real question is, in light of the facts and the situation in the Middle East, should he do so? Should we alienate one of our most loyal allies because they killed a critic of the Crown Prince? Do we want to cause one more middle east country to become a foe and perhaps ally itself with the Russians like Iran and Syria did?

It is a tough set of questions and needs more thought than outrage. Our whole ambition to thwart terrorism in the Middle East greatly depends on our alliance with Saudi Arabia and other countries of that region.

HOPE IS MOTIVATION; REALITY IS PROFIT
