LPI - SSK and KiK, if you read through those comments in the article i linked two days ago, there's a lot more info about Warburg Pincus. Warburg and the LPI CEO evidently go way back together.

What i recall reading (and i'll have to create time later to go re-read and read more) is that Warburg helped initially fund LPI. He likes the co. but is having to liquidate one of his hedge funds for clients.

This is just sketchy recall that i'm reporting here from faulty memory.
