shermann7/hookrider, loved the club as a teaching tool, early as they were leaving the ship. That set a tone. Later, in a bit, it hurt a lot to watch at times. You guys know why. Laura's unvarnished empathy around those times was beautiful. Toward the end the duel set-up was no surprise, but Quigley's line, as the villain Marston lay on the ground, was very cool. The dust interrupting the Redcoats plan leading to the gem of the hill-top aborigines was a beauty, the scene brought to mind this post

Yay, Authoritarianism is making a comeback. Here's the time-tested way to defeat it

Just imagine the effect on a tyrannical leader of millions not turning up to work. Or sitting in the middle of highways. Who needs guns to fight an overly authoritarian government.

Back to the show, appreciated very much the old guy on first sight, and even more when he approached, then left, Quigley near the end. And of course the very end. Warm endings rock!

Selleck and San Giacomo were perfectly cast.

This review does the movie justice.

shermann, historically? - there were too many massacres back then here, too.

Thanks for the tip, and the reference, you guys. Enjoyed it.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
