Well, I clearly missed those discussions. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
But...
If something was auctioned and you got beat by a lower bid only to see it renegotiated, wouldn't you be angry.
Since this was auctioned, I suspect that the price will not be renegotiated - My opinion only.
On the other hand, I remember accusations that JPM acquired things that were not 'part of the deal'. These will have to be paid for (negotiated price) or returned.
I am still curious as to how the art collection that was donated by JPM will be valued and compensated for.
