I'm with Sottrade and they show 1:1 also, but in my Account Info section they display the total shares.

I am reading that TD Ameritrade will not be handling the PFD's for their clients. Personally, I think that sucks out loud, but there is nothing anyone can do except to drop them as a broker and move your shares to a different broker.

I have read that they will be sending everyone their certs once they "locate" them all. This is going to be a pain in the ass for everyone. I would suggest that anyone with TD should go open an account with a broker that will handle them, like Scottrade for instance, and then have the certs and all your other stocks transferred to your new account.

This way the shares get in to an account where you can access them if you want to in the fastest way possible. It would not be good for any of you to be holding certs in your hand when they become tradeable.

Any way you look at it this is going to present a little bit of a hassle for you all. But IMO having the shares transferred to a new broker as opposed to taking pocession of your certs is the safest, and quickest way for you to get them in an active account.

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. "Sort of". It's just a filler. "Sort of" - It doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
