The only real source of high CBD genes is within the Hemp plant these days, as the hemp strains were bred for the opposite purpose of recreational strains, that is, low THC levels. Most cannabis strains will only display a percentage or 2 of CBD if that, unless hybridized with a hemp strain.

I did a college term paper on hemp about 30 years ago.
