It is more like a loss to our system. The credibility of the supreme court will be lessened, and if charges are eventually brought against him by some of the women, which would be a distinct possibility, this jamming him into the court will not end the mess.

He might survive an impeachment, but our system of government is on the ropes, and this republican-led bullshit harms it more than helps it. Your president toadstool needs to pull the nomination and put someone up that speaks for a broader expanse of americans than just his base. (and not one that has pre-determined to defend him personally if he ends up being dragged before the court)
