Thats true... clarence thomas got voted in after the committee ended in a tie, if i remember correctly.

Not sure what the limited FBI investigation is going to accomplish other than just making women more angry when they confirm him after the interviews get spun by the politicians.

If he is confirmed, it will just be another crack in the wall of democracy and rule of law.
