They update when they have news, and CEO letters usually every quarter too. RC is far too busy to keep anxious shareholders updated every week, he has a business to run. We all have our own agendas as investors, some are waiting to flip what they have, and that's fine but the company isnt going to operate differently because of our own agendas. When there is news, he shares it, if that's not good enough, hit up IR yourself.
