GM Buddy! I've still got bruises on my butt from the biggest boneheaded move I've made this century.


I filled in on the night shift and worked late. I got up the next morning and looked thru a few charts and decided to trade SPY. I bought some calls that were in the money and they shot up right away. I checked my charts and felt like they had more in it, so I decided to hold thru the dip.


When they started dropping, I happened to notice that they weren't the weeklies I thought I was buying. They were quarterlies, and expired at the EOD. This was a Tuesday. By the time I realized what was going on? They were pretty much worthless. To make it even worse? SPY shot up the next day. Had I bought what I thought I was? dadnabbit anyway!
