Hey BALL BOY,

I've got an "oh crap!" you'll appreciate.

My childhood buddy and I, have a birthday 3 days apart. We've always been best friends, and still are today. I made plans a few months ago to take a fishing trip to Pierre, SD near our birthday. I am truly saddened to say, the guide I hired had family health issues to attend to, and cancelled.

I immediately started digging for another option. Devils Lake, ND is someplace that appeals to me. Remember when I was asking about yellow perch? That got me on the trail to Devils Lake. I tracked down a guide that could take us out, booked a motel, then looked at the weather forecast.

OH CRAP! Devils Lake is further north than Fuzzy! The high on our two days of guided fishing is 53°, and the low is 33°. I called my buddy and told him to bring his long johns, coveralls, and hot hands!


I just finished mowing my yard in 90° heat. Cloudy and 30-50 deg temps are going to be a bit chilly, I'm thinking. I can't wait!!!!!
