I don't know your background or education level. At the very least other publications will show the authors name and easily enough view their credentials. There is no doubt that many of the SA writers have ulterior motives.
An idea can come from anywhere, but it's when some "source" on the internet claims to be an authority and others listen, is when it's time to question their purpose.
Just go look at the top posters on IHUB. Almost every one of them is a penny stock pumper.
