I must have missed it - can you point me to a message with a link to show which securities are held by the liquidation trust or held by FDIC to be handed over to the liquidation trust?

I thought that FDIC had closed the books on this years ago, but maybe missed something.

If you take Dmd very optimistic forecast then he came up with 176B. He did it by adding all the MBS that are listed at the FDIC site and take 26% of it for the beneficial interest ratio.

If you use HM and Justice forecast then it is more conservative and they show some balance sheet from FDIC which shows that the FDIC retained 40B. After the FDIC paid their claimants then perhaps 24B will remain.

My crystal ball says that there will be more than 10B returned.

The good thing is that we will probably know by the end of next

year.
