I cannot speak for brainless, but I personally do see the islamic threat to our populace and our nation as a whole to be very much more serious than the scenario you describe. The odds of an innocent citizen of this country being picked up off the street and "disappear for good" are zero, while the islamic extremists have not only vowed to kill as many of us as they can, but have actually already killed thousands of our people.

If you cannot see the difference in the level of threat, you are blinded by your hatred of the administration.
