NO it is not the best outcome....
the best outcome would have been a de novo ruling
in which the CAFC decided to vacate based on the IPR time bar.
Which is what many of the people thought would happen.

that is best case....we would be moving on to district court.
This is essentially just a remand.
Go back to PTAB to decide IPR using actual discovery which WDDD was denied.
which is what I said was going to happen.
The vacate part is just vacated for now til IPR time bar issue has been decided.

I will shut up now....I just can't see how people are excited because they used the term vacate. '

This is a remand...plain and simple....
