Some of those posts were deleted before I saw them, so I see there were enough to cause concern.

However, I can verify that chwdr did state that he found that word to be OK when it was used by another poster in describing owd3's reasoning. He later changed his mind and deleted all of the posts, including his own in which he stated that the word was OK.

As an observer, it did appear to be a bait and switch issue. Too bad owd3 took the bait.

As for point #3, I have not observed owd to be guilty of that. What I saw on Wednesday was other posters bringing up a quote from a news article to try to refute a previous post by owd3. They were doing it to me as well, but I didn't get into it with them as much.

FWIW, I also agree that chwdr tries to be fair. Today he had to take some heat for not deleting posts and his responses were outstanding.
