Thanks, Captainslog, for the trip down memory lane.IDCC has been on a tear lately. It`s at a new multi-year high. In fact it went up another $.90 yesterday. That`s about $46 mil in market cap. Impressive. Since I hold IDCC long, that certainly makes me smile. My QCOM shares, held at a low single digit average price, have conversely been in the dumps. There is a disconnect between the stock (QCOM)and the business (QUALCOMM) at the moment,as there has been at various times in the past. But even QCOM, while artificially depressed, has an occasional up day. In fact, it went up $.48 yesterday. adding $792 mil to its market cap. Lackluster day, but the stock bounced a little.
The problem I have with the cross-border flame toss of yours of yesterday, is emblematic of what turns most intelligent people away from getting involved with IDCC. It was difficult to take IDCC seriously back in the 90`s, because of precisely the same sort of inane, delusional, chest thumping represented by your instigation over here. That was Punkin`s angle on the old AOL QCOM Board (wnich he has carried forward to this board), as well. It`s one thing to be a Dittohead to mschere and Rev. Bill on the IDCC Board. That`s your prerogative. You`ll find a lot of kindred souls, with reasoning and opinions as sophisticated and informed as yours over there. But raiding the QCOM Board to annoy and provoke with the "IDCC rules, QCOM is in agonal breathing" dogma won`t be tolerated in the modern age.
We don`t suffer fools well over here. But thanks for the memories.
