We can talk about Kevlar.... it won’t stop bullets. Yet they use it in bulletproof vests. A m-16 is a 223 caliber. I would guess it shoots around 3300 FPS from muzzle . My 22-250 which is similar shoots 3900 FPS at muzzle.
Regardless both Kevlar and DS are useless without plates or other material woven in. With the help of Warwick Mills I think the possibilities are unlimited.
The real question is will this product perform as well or better than Kevlar while weighing only a fraction as much? If yes then we are sitting on a gold mine.
