I am aware of protocol but since your president has never followed protocol since he took office it was odd (but not surprising) that he would follow protocol today.
I am aware that someone finally had the sense to put the flag back to half mast and now, apparently, he has even given an official statement on John McCain's death.
All I can say, is IT'S ABOUT TIME!
