While I raised a question about putting up the player without ‘the strudel’ earlier, since then we’ve learnt that an assembly and distribution center has been set up and we seem to be on track to a fall launch.

One thing that confuses me is why it is necessary to buy specific hardware like the PCs that will be on offer if it will be possible eventually to download a player from the Microsoft store that will work on multiple devices?

The launch may fall flat but I think it’s ridiculous to say the new people aren’t qualified.
