ForReal, Trump politicized one single tragedy. Typically for him, with total disregard for any emotional upset he may cause.
Sorry for the tardy response.
You, of course are entitled to your opinion. However, I must disagree. That one single tragedy that you speak of is representative of many others that have occurred due to the broader issue of border security, immigration law and enforcement of those laws.
Much like gun control, immigration control is the topic, not just a single murder by someone here illegally.
And, I have to believe that there was some emotional trauma suffered by the parents of those school children that were murdered, when it became a political discussion.
Just as those school shootings prompted discussion of what can be done to stop such atrocities, the shooting of Mollie Tebbitts has also prompted discussion of greater border security and strengthening of immigration law, to prevent similar atrocities.
Let me ask you. How does your government deal with illegal immigration? If caught, are illegal immigrants set free and given a court date, sometime in the future? What is your country's policy regarding refugees? Do you agree with your country's immigration policies?
Here is my take on our border security. May sound familiar, as Trump has said as much and is common sense. If we are sending our young men overseas to fight and die, to ensure the border security of other countries, why are we not as concerned about our own country's borders?
