I just want to build a bit on my previous response to you.

Elizabeth Warren has just proposed a bill called the Anti-Corruption and Public Integrity Act. Personally, I think it is long overdue and am in favor of it, even though I voted for Trump. But how many from the Trump Tribe will immediately find fault with it? Probably all the hardcore tribe. In fact, the fault finding has already begun.

I have my doubts that this bill could ever pass, no matter who controls congress. Does anyone really think the political cabal in Washington would vote against their own self interest? If this was proposed while Democrats held control of the House and Senate, it would go the way of the bill to abolish ObamaCare, while Republicans controlled both houses. Just enough Democrats would find fault (as just enough Repub's did with ObamaCare Kill Bill) to negate passage. Usually those Repub's or Dem's retiring, with nothing to lose, work to advantage of our currently corrupt legislative branch. It would die in gridlock and with ensuing finger pointing, with high fives in congressional cloak rooms.

The same holds true for any good bill proposed by Repub's. The Dem tribe would not even give a smidgen of consideration to a Trump proposal, whether good or bad. They are all bad.

And the Two Party Democracy is in Pig Heaven. They love the circumstance of the electoral division and recrimination. They will go on giving us the drama and fuel to keep us divided as they go along their merry way, collecting campaign money and enriching themselves.

Old Man Daley from Chicago said it best. "As long as I plow the snow, provide some jobs and pick up the garbage, they don't care how much I rake in". And he was right and powerful for many years. The problem with today's politicians is they won't even make sure the garbage gets picked up, simply because they don't have to. All they have to do is divide and entertain us.
