When the Ask it 2x the price of the bid - its simple - you gotta luv it to buy it / hate it to sell it.

As for market makers, they are happy to provide action ANYTIME -- they make zero money on a stock with no action.


The low bid says that's what buyers in the wings are willing to buy at.Z

They high ask says that's what sellers are willing to sell at.

A huge spread in the B/A is like a spinning top on a bar chart: = indecision.
