Updated: I read somewhere water softeners fixed that. Something else i know
nothing about. Thanks, was hoping you might pop in there with a shot of your expertise.

Aside 2: The same 'not able to make any typing work' happened again when first going
to reply to yours. Fingers crossed i don't have a contaminated well at my fingertips.
