Trump never fails to disappoint people on both sides of the aisle. I know Trump supporters that get as mad at me when I do not provide unequivocal support. They get as mad at me as many here.

But when you try to defend the indefensible, you lose credibility. As you do when you are hypocritical.

Trump will meet his just desserts and it will be all on him--no one else.

There should be a moral lesson that hubris and arrogance will --eventually-result in a downfall. It may take a long time...30 years sometimes, but it will happen.

sounds a bit "sanctimonious" to me.
