"That requires questioning the CEO and his judgment". Exactly what judgements are you questioning? What great mistakes have been made by the CEO to put the pps where it sits? I have confidence in his management style even if you don't. You seem to think that all he's supposed to be concerned with is the pps...kinda like..keep your finger in the wind. That's plain stupid. He's the CEO.
CEOs don’t design anything, make anything or sell anything. Their job is to create the strategies for building the business and to create the kind of positive environment that enables our employees to do these vital jobs. The CEO ultimately sets the direction. Which markets will the company enter? Against which competitors? With what product lines? How will the company differentiate itself? The CEO decides, sets budgets, forms partnerships, and hires a team to steer the company accordingly.
The only way to build lasting value in a company is to focus on it's missions, customers and employees.
BOTTOMLINE: So what will create lasting value?
* Building the business by pursuing the mission with a passion.
* Connecting every day with the employees.
* Being out with the customers looking for great ideas for growth.
* Being true to the core values in every decision.
* Building an enduring organization of authentic leaders from top to bottom.
* Getting results for all the stakeholders, not just the shareholder who bitches the most.
I don't think he's taking a single dollar from investors that won't be turned into at least a dollar of value. But, of course, this isn't instant coffee as you seem to think. It takes time!!!
News will come when he's damn good and ready to present it...and that's just fine with me!! We are, after all, passive investors...aren't we?
Yousay "it's not easy to sell when your down". Well it's a helluva lot easier than what he's doing!!! Until we see earnings..sentiment will control the pps, and you're certainly not helping in that regard. Grow up a little...this is a game for the big kids!!!
