"Just found the Tube on Comcast over the weekend...I tossed my remote in the garbage so I can't change the channel. Don't change a thing." Richard P., Issaquah, WA, Age 41

The Tube Music Network, a wholly-owned subsidiary of THE TUBE MEDIA CORP. (OTCBB:TUBM - News) and the nation's first, 24-hour digital music network, is now available to more than 15 million digital cable homes, announced Les Garland, CEO, The Tube Music Network.

The launch of THE TUBE on KMYQ in Seattle on Comcast Channel 116, increases already impressive viewership figures by more than 500,000 digital subscribers.

In making the announcement, Garland, co-founder of MTV and VH-1 said, "This is a significant launch for THE TUBE in yet another major, metropolitan market. The rapid expansion is exciting, but the viewer response is unlike anything I have seen in my career."

THE TUBE playlist features a mix of both major and independent label videos, as well as exclusive performance clips and rare footage. In a vast departure from the way music has traditionally been presented on television, classic performances from legendary artists such as Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton and Bob Marley are featured alongside just-released videos by current artists including Gnarls Barkley, Norah Jones, James Blunt, The Gorillaz, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall and Jack Johnson. The bold playlist includes a healthy concentration of music from today's most popular touring acts, including U2, the Rolling Stones, Prince, Rod Stewart and The Eagles.

The TUBE is also available free, over-the air on KMYQ's digital channel 22.2 to residents in the viewing area with a digital tuner. This free, 24 hour broadcast is made possible via new multicasting technology, which allows stations to distribute a secondary signal within the primary signal's digital bandwidth. Digital, or ATSC tuners, can be connected to basic televisions with a set top box or come embedded in newly manufactured televisions.

KMYQ is a Tribune Broadcasting station. TRIBUNE (NYSE:TRB - News) is one of the country's top media companies, operating businesses in publishing and broadcasting. It reaches more than 80 percent of U.S. households and is the only media organization with newspapers, television stations and websites in the nation's top three markets.
