The question becomes very simple in the end ... Is it better to have licensed gun dealers sell weapons or the black market ...

Prohibition on Alchohol and the war on drugs both led to the same place ... the Black Market ...

I am not saying anything is correct or not ... just that the federal govt has a bad track record in terms of enforcing the laws they pass.
