The GSE's can be a toxic subject in DC. Any move now would cause a lot of finger pointing and claims of Trump doing favors for his rich hedge fund buddies.

Can someone explain why Munchin & FAHA needs to wait until after mid-term elections to get FNF out of conservatorship ?
