Not a feel good thing. I have customers here in US who were Russian citizens once, immigrated here LEGALLY, and they tell me of much positive changes overseas and with family still there. These are persons who were educated engineers and had powerful high paying jobs and say so much in US media today is plain false regarding Russia or its people today; and couple of them under last Administration actually told me they wish they were still back in Russia, as they had it better than what was going on under Obama Administration in USA- they had lake house and 2nd homes and money to spend, and under Obama in USA, they (being retired) were experiencing less money to live on and higher costs here to live on...

I-man good luck on your position, whatever you decide is best for your case and unique situation. I am not certain how to quantify the information you're presenting here into something that would help me change or verify my current opinions on the chart. The indicators are all that I think I need to determine at this time.

Regarding the rest of the stuff I have an engineering degree and watched companies get tax writeoffs and incentives to hire lowball outsourced workers here while I was trying to keep my job or find a better one. This was instead of all the graduates like myself they encouraged to go to school and learn hard STEM education courses with a promise of a bright future. No mention that later they would be doing things to limit your chances after.

This happened during our peak earning years while I thought the companies were crying wolf the whole time about not finding workers (perhaps at a certain price point). And then everyone else just ducked their head, ignoring it, pretending it wasn't there, saying one thing and doing another and trying not to show it.

So I don't doubt that the jobs environment was superior elsewhere, that's where all the money went. It's a no-brainer when you hear some engineers overseas got hummer trucks as bonuses and that was chump change.

I think this is what happens when a few fat and happy rich people sit on everyone and don't really want it to change. And that's not limited to one country or another.
