So were are attacked in the way of the 21st century, via cyber attack to cripple our democratic process and system, and the attacker is welcomed with open arms by our commander in chief... Either the commander in chief is being held hostage, or he has gone full treason... in either case, either the military needs to discharge the duty to protect and defend the country, or the staff around him has to rally and have him declared unfit. It might finally be time to invoke the 25th amendment.
No one wants a coup, but for all the rhetoric by republicans over the years about national defense, maybe it is time they actually DO something about national defense? Many of his staff are generals, did they not swear an oath, too? A pee tape or whatever will not bring down the republic, but a commander in chief willing to sell out america to protect his personal reputation just cannot stand.
If it is that trump is being held hostage via blackmail, which one has to admit is certainly possible if one even loosely connects the dots... if mueller knows what or how it is, maybe he better come forward before the situation gets even worse.
We need to fight back against the continued attack by russia, and if trump is not up to the task, he needs to go. Why on earth hasn't he appointed a cyber czar to lead the response? One man's ego cannot be allowed to bring our country down. Patriotism over party is needed at this juncture. The beginnings of that seemed to arise yesterday. The trump cultists need to snap out of their trance, or be relegated to the dustbin of history.
I do not condone any military action in the conventional sense, as bullets don't stop bytes. But I certainly condone retaliation by stopping their cyber attacks in kind. There is a time for peaceful acceptance, but literally having the enemy inside the gates and having a leader do nothing, in fact, greeting the enemy with open arms, has to be remedied. We have been the subject of politicians crying wolf to turn fear into votes about basically imaginary enemies for many years, but now, when a real attack actually happens, and happened, and the president freezes up about doing anything... All the other stuff is insignificant.
