I'm seriously considering adding this policy to all political threads here.

I asked Bob about this before and he disagreed. He came to the same conculsion recently, I suppose, and now agrees.

Short version: We hate politics. Politics are a waste our time. It's ridiculously petty battles that take up way more time than we care to spend on them. Especially since we are a stock site.

My version would be down the lines of - I don't care what goes on there. Open range for both Moderator and user to settle differences. IF you don't like Mod, start a new board. Vice versa. Only thing I would step in on would be violations of privacy. That's about it.
