Yes, but democratic socialism is not Cuba or Venezuela which have a distinctly Marxist and authoritarian bent. Instead you can look at Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland as democratic socialist countries and ask yourself why we don't see anyone there complaining or trying to leave for more "desirable" places like say, this shining beacon of capitalism we have here?
