Not holding, never have, but I to did do the DD and was on my list. The biggest reason I held off was that at the time the financials were absent, and replaced by SR on Twitter. In essence my feeling was to hold off until the financials were released.
Following the RS and the subsequent drop, I also was asking myself where I went wrong. The only reason I still follow is that this has been a great learning opportunity ( fortunately for me a free one )
First i look for stocks with a lowish OS and high insider ownership. Low OS to eliminate the potential of an RS and insider ownership,as any dilution hurts them more than us. Insider ownership also indicates they have confidence in their own company. Plus you get a lower float. My feeling was OMVS passed this as the 125m OS (at the time) wasnt that high, and the series F stocks gave them their insider ownership.
125m isnt high as an OS, but as a float, its too high. Series F stocks really mess things up.
What I really didnt understand was that series F stocks didnt really protect from dilution as they are multiples of the OS, not finite... (lesson learnt there). The RS was a complete surprise, but is a product of current / future dilution. I simply never bought into the narrative it was just so they could get the SP into the dollar range.
The number of outstanding bonds was also a red light. Wasnt high on my list, but will be in the future. Seems quite obvious looking back.
