DD , The splitting of families with out a doubt is a heart ache to all but might send a message to others if your going to seek illegal entry to the USA you probably will be separated from your child. Simple solution is go to point of entry and there's no separation of family's.

IMO there's so many here in the USA (citizens)that could use help and I for one would like to see them helped rather than immigrants which many are criminals.

I say charity starts at home and take care of yours first rather than worry about illegals.
