You seem confused about the meaning of socialism. Regardless of the name the candidate attaches to herself, socialism means to abolish private property. Or at least in the derogatory way you use the term. A platform of health care for all, and supporting a livable wage is not the abolition of private property. No one wants to abolish capitalism. That's absurd. However our liberal Democrasy has been ceding power to the corporate world since our inception. Average people no longer have the voice they should in government. Up and down the political spectrum intellectual production is controlled by the people whom control material production. That's not how a Liberal Democracy is supposed to function. Our Democrasy is sick. If wanting a voice and representation in government is radical, than I'm radical. I would like to have as many voices as possible in the Democratic party, and not just medicare for all voice. That's a healthy Democracy. Lord knows the Republican party no longer supports anyone whom disagrees with your leader. That's authoritarianism.
