Perhaps you're just another paranoid bigot who's afraid of dark skinned people.
Perhaps you aren't consciously using the same arguments as were used against allowing Jews... Italians... Irish... Chinese... Perhaps it's just that it makes so much sense that the argument flows logically.
On the one hand, the United States has spent 120 years, systematically exploiting and decimating the native cultures and societies of Central America. We've actively beaten down any attempt by their citizens to democratize or improve their own lot (for reference google "School of the Americas", Jacobo Arbenz.... Read Chomsky. Read Gore Vidal's "In the Lair of the Octopus"... Joan Didion's "Salvador.")
We've supported the few dozen families that own everything while they opt to grow cash crops because they already have plenty of food. This necessarily produces starvation, followed by unrest... and violence, and finally refugees. But it does produce profits; for Coca Cola and United Fruit and various and sundry other US based multinationals.
On the other hand we are a land 320 million with an aging population. We can easily absorb and assimilate several million Native American migrants in need of work. Witness the crops rotting in the Southeast and Pacific West.
These are people that will work their asses off and send their children to school, like millions of immigrants before them.
Your problem is that they're brown. It's your entire argument. Just tell the fucking truth.
