Its hard to explain not knowing exactly which chart you are looking at and which lines. Post it here and maybe we can help.
Some of the lines you see are most likely the MA(moving averages). The MA is the average price over a specified period of time. The MA can help identify trends in upward movement or support levels.

As far as buys vs. sells? I don't know of any specific way to say x/amount sold and x/amount bought. Anyone know this, that would be great info. I do know from a candlestick chart you can determine buying or selling pressure. Hollow candlesticks indicate buying pressure and filled candlesticks indicate selling. The larger the candlestick, the more buying or selling pressure there is. From the chart i feel the selling pressure is over and we will drift around until we get an update from the company.
Speculative plays like this depend on news and evidence that they are actually going to pull this off.
