Three American citizens were released from NK prison and returned to the US. I don't think they consider their rescue as nothing. And we didn't pay to get them released.

Trump halted the nuclear missile tests after Obama allowed the tests to continue to the point that NK developed an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the US!

North Korea destroyed their missile launch site. It might have already become useless but they also destroyed their cooling tower.

We know that the agreement signed is just a start and Trump said it will be a long process. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and national security advisor John Bolton will lead the negotiations to see the DPRK fully eliminates its nuclear and missile capabilities. They need to set a time table and inspection schedule. This is just the beginning with a lot of hard work still to be done.

Flash back to Clinton's getting the two female journalists released. And NK refused to release them to any minion other that Clinton, refusing to accept even John Kerry. They wanted the respect that only Clinton could provide so Clinton bowed down and went.

So you have a problem with Trump commuting the unjust prison sentence of Alice Johnson? She should have been pardoned by Obama but he didn't care about her. She was a first time offender, given a life sentence for a non-violent offense. She had already served 22 years.
All Kim did was to bring Alice's case to Trump's attention.
So you think Trump should have refused to hear Kim's plea for justice? At least Trump took mercy on Alice and pardoned her.

We need prison reform.
