I liked the people. There are no decent resorts to speak of, no good restaurants, and the beaches aren't kept up. The people were the kindest most appreciative souls I have ever met...and they literally have nothing! They kept driving me to obscure areas to try and prove to me just how beautiful a place it used to be.
